This dress sews up really quick and looks adorable on! The fabric is Bella Butterfly by Michael Miller. I made her a matching fabric bow to go with it.
I used fabric covered buttons for the first time on this dress, they are adorable and really easy. I was excited about the ladybug on one button and the caterpillar on the other!
I actually tested this one twice because she made some changes. This was the first draft, the yoke is a bit longer but the pictures are too cute not to share! I thought the blue and red polka dot gave it a bit of a vintage vibe so I rolled with that and gave her a 50's style head scarf.
